Beatriz Fernandez, along with her husband Eduardo Macias, created 30
years ago Crepes & Waffles, a Colombian brand that today has about 50
branches in different countries through franchising. Currently has outlets in
Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Cartagena, Barranquilla and Pereira, and
internationally is in Ecuador, Panama, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. What
started as an idea to succeed became a successful and exemplary business that
today has become one of the most visited by Colombian restaurants.
Businesswoman Beatriz Fernandez shared with students experiences and
curiosities which tells how the recipe for waffles came his way, a couple of
weeks of opening the restaurant in the parking lot of the house of his father
